Hot Buttered Popcorn

This weekend is Grace's ballet recital. She has been practicing since September and it is finally time. She is the most adorable puff of popcorn I have ever seen! Grace had her last practice on Thursday, in costume. I took lots of pictures. Saturday afternoon was dress rehearsal in the theatre and then her first performance was Saturday night. She did great! All of the girls remembered most of the dance and there were no tears on stage.

Buttered Popcorn

Mark your calendars for June 13th and 14th. This is the weekend of the "big" Ballet Recital. We found out last night that Gracie gets to be Buttered Popcorn in the Windsor Ballet Academy Spring Recital. Their will be a popcorn vendor who will pull each piece of popcorn out of the box and then the girls will get to Attitude-Sauté across the stage. She has been practicing Attitude-Sauté for months and is very excited about this. The yellow sparkly, fuzzy costume was a hit as well.

This will be Grace's 2nd Ballet Recital. Here's a look back to Grace's first in June 2008 when she was a "flag color".
