Lucky Charms
Grace is playing soccer for the second year. Her team decided to be called the "Lucky Charms". We were blessed with a great coach who ensures that all the girls have FUN. In fact, he reiterates at every practice and game that the number one rule for his team is to have fun. In addition to the fun, the girls are learning the very basics of soccer.
Grace scored a goal in the first game of the season, unfortunately between Henry and Cooper I didn't have a chance to take a photo. Last Saturday I was able to catch a quick video of Grace playing since it was just me and Henry watching Grace's game (Jason and Cooper were in Cloverdale watching Emma Jo).
I'm going to try to remember to charge the camera and bring it to both games on Saturday to take some pictures of both Grace and Emma Jo.

Grace's Pink Jeep
One of the highlights of Grammie & Grampa's house is the golf cart that can be cruised around the property. Emma Jo is old enough to get to drive it on her own but Grace is still too little. Grampa felt bad that Grace didn't have a vehicle of her own so a couple of weeks ago when we arrived for dinner we found this little Jeep sitting in the driveway.
I'm not sure who likes it more Grace, Cooper, or Grampa!

Cooper's show
Cooper John is developing quite the little personality. He is growing up every day right before our eyes. This weekend as we were driving to Grammie's house for Sunday Dinner, Cooper did something great in the car (I can't remember what). I turned around to him and said give me a High-Five for that. He stuck up his hand and then pulled it down real quick and said "too slow". Several times since they he has played High-Five with his sisters, Up High, Down Low, Too Slow! He laughs every time.
Emma Jo got a ukulele for Christmas several years ago. Before his first birthday Cooper took it over as his "gitar". He loves to walk around the house and play it for us. Last night we were sitting on the couch catching up on our day when Cooper grabbed his "gitar" and started singing for us. Emma Jo love it and made a video. (Please forgive the mess and background noise.)
Cooper standing on the couch, in the pjs he wore to daycare all day, pretending he was a giant serenading him sisters and mommy.

Favorite Bedtime Stories
Shortly before Christmas, Grace received the book SkippyjonJones. It quickly became a favorite bedtime story of everyone in the family. For Christmas Jason and I bought her the rest of the Skippyjon books. They are great fun to listen to and you can even learn a little Spanish in the process. I would highly recommend for any family.
Grace has memorized her favorite part of the book and I love listening to her recite it.

Preschool Christmas Show
Grace Louise had a Christmas show last night. She was absolutely adorable. She has been practicing for weeks and knows all the words to all the songs. I'll try posting videos of a couple of the songs. Here is the first one:

Soccer
This isn't the best clip, but it is all I have. We thought Grandma Bette would especially like watching Emma Jo play. Emma is number 13.

Grace's Class Songs
Last year in Preschool, Grace was in the bunny class. Her teacher, Mrs. Eufusia, taught the class the Bunny Song. We especially like the "potton tail".
Here is Grace's commentary:This year I'm in the turtle class. Mrs Winter taught me the turtle song. Mrs. Eufusia taught me the finger bunny song. I love school since I moved to a different class. Gabi and Matthew are my favorite friends and I like to play with them everyday.
