Pumpkins

Tonight was the annual "name-your-pumpkin" ceremony at Grandpa's pumpkin patch. Emma Jo chose a perfect Jack-o-Lantern pumpkin while Grace went for the biggest in the patch. Cooper John was just happy to sit in the dirt and play with a dirt clod.

Notice that Grace wrote her own name this year!

OK, you need to go back and do ones for Mays and Dallas. My pumpkins got ate by rats (yes, totally gross. Cooper's changed sooo much! Everyone looks great. -t

Dad's got ones for Mays and Dallas too. I'm sure he'll bring them down in October.

The children I love

Emma Jo is a Jr. Higher! She is enjoying a school year on the 2nd floor with multiple teachers and lockers! She continues to love soccer and liking basketball as well. Emma is one of the tallest in her class and her basketball coach is hoping she grows even more this year. She is a great big sister and can be relied upon to help with the little kids. She is beautiful, smart and funny and I'm very proud to have her as my oldest daughter.

Grace is growing up so fast! She can read and has a great imagination. Drawing is still her favorite activity and if she has been quiet for a while I know I can find her with paper, marker, tape and scissors. She is a very loving, sensative little girl and wants to please and be helpful. Grace loves school, her teacher and all of her classmates.

Cooper John is all boy! He loves tractors, dinosaurs and tools. If he can wear a belt and hook a tape measure, hammer or screwdriver on it he is very happy. Cooper loves Daddy and would spend all day (and night) with him if he could. He also likes Grampa and is really looking forward to Casey finishing his "dinosaur room".

Henry Charles is here! God knew what he was doing when he blessed us with one more child. We had never planned on a #4 but now couldn't imagine life without him. Henry is a sweet little boy whose entire face lights up when he smiles! He loves to laugh and is entertained by watching his older siblings or the tv. Football is his favorite show to watch (just like Emma Jo at his age). Henry loves Mommy but is getting better at hanging out with someone other than me.
